Water Fountains
Cats naturally prefer fresh, running water over water that has been sitting in a bowl. A filtered water fountain encourages them to drink more often, which can help support proper hydration and overall health. For the best durability and hygiene, we recommend choosing a stainless steel or ceramic filtered cat water fountain. There are many excellent options available on Amazon.
Litter Boxes and Litter
Before going to their new homes, our kittens are fully litter box trained using both a stainless steel litter box and a Litter-Robot. This helps them adapt more easily to different litter box setups. If you do not plan to use a Litter-Robot, we recommend a stainless steel litter box, as it is durable, easy to clean, and more hygienic than plastic options.
Our kittens are trained using Dr. Elsey's Clumping Cat Litter. To help make the transition to their new home as smooth as possible, we recommend using the same or a very similar clumping litter for the first few weeks. Keeping the litter consistent helps prevent confusion and encourages good litter box habits while your kitten adjusts to their new environment
Regular grooming is important to keep your Ragdoll healthy and looking their best. Here are some of the grooming supplies I use to wash, clean, and groom my cats.

Cat Trees & Scratching Posts
Kittens are naturally curious, playful, and full of energy. Providing a cat tree gives them a safe place to climb, jump, play, and relax while helping satisfy their natural instincts. Cat trees also encourage exercise and can help keep your kitten from climbing on furniture. Below are a few modern cat trees that we recommend.
We also recommend providing at least one scratching post or scratching board. Scratching is a normal and healthy behavior that helps cats stretch, maintain their claws, and mark their territory. Every kitten has different preferences, so you may want to try a few different styles to see which one they enjoy most. If your kitten starts scratching furniture, place a scratching post or board directly in front of the area they are scratching to help redirect the behavior.

Toys & Playtime
Kittens love to play! Interactive toys help keep them mentally stimulated, physically active, and entertained. Toy balls, plush mice, wand toys, and other chase toys are all great choices. You can never have too many toys—many of them have a funny way of disappearing under the couch!
While laser pointers are popular, we do not recommend using them as a primary form of play. Chasing a laser can be exciting, but because your kitten can never actually catch the "prey," it may leave some cats feeling frustrated. Cats naturally enjoy the full hunting experience—stalking, chasing, catching, and holding their prize. Toys they can physically grab, pounce on, and carry provide a much more satisfying and rewarding play experience.
There are plenty of fun alternatives that encourage healthy, interactive play while allowing your kitten to successfully "catch" their prey. Below are some of our favorite toys that our kittens absolutely love!
